Yes, it's staged, but staged well. This photo, shot from our 30th floor lobby looking south into our reception area, was used in a 2005 print ad (yes, ad agencies sometimes create ads for themselves...at least we do) congratulating BtoB magazine on its 5th anniversary. Published by Crain Communications, BtoB is the business marketing profession's "bible," much the same way sister Crain publication Advertising Age is the weekly bible for consumer marketers. It's so core to what we do that, for several years now, we have purchased a subscription for every single co-worker. What's not shown in this photo is the BtoB delivery guy walking across the lobby towards our doors with a stack of the latest issue in his arms. A bit campy, I guess, but we really admire the job that BtoB's editors do every month, and we wanted to do something a little over the top to show our regard.
